Message from the Executive Director

On behalf of the Housing Authority of the City of Ansonia (AHA), I welcome you to our new web site. Here you will find information that describes our services and commitment to serving the community. Since the 1950's it has been the agency's mission to assist the residents of the City of Ansonia by helping people access affordable housing. By working with our collaborative partners, we develop, renovate, maintain housing and assist residents in accessing needed services to improve their quality of life. Our future will be marked by an increase in public-private partnerships to meet the housing needs of the families and individuals we serve. In addition, a greater partnership commitment is necessary to provide services to assist families in reaching a higher level of economic stability and self-sufficiency. Together, we will work towards improving the organization while we aid in transforming communities and the lives of the people who live in them.
